Parents are drawn to the fantastic design and the fact that their kid is already Lightning McQueen crazy from the movie Cars. The choice for them is easy and an obvious one in deciding which of the many PowerWheels vehicles to buy. The result is that their children love the choice that their parents make for them, but seems to always cause the same two problems for the parents. First, they can’t seem to get their child out of the car and secondly, if they don’t recharge the battery overnight, they have to deal with a waiting and pestering child whilst it recharges! |

This cute car is loads of fun, even for my young son. We purchased it a couple of weeks before his third birthday. The first day he mainly went in circles because he did not know how to control the steering, but he quickly mastered going and stopping along with forward and reverse. The next day he mastered the steering wheel, and now he is unstoppable!
I recommend this car for kids ages 3 to 6/7 (depending on the weight and height). Our seven year old son, who weighs around 60 pounds, loves it. He would ride it often IF his brother would let him. Because his brother isn't much for sharing this toy, my older son wrote to Santa (in July) and asked him to make a bigger version of Sally (the blue car in the movie) so that he and his brother could race.
Features:
- Minor assembly required (most stickers are already on the car)
- Looks great (the neighbors gawk - adults and kids alike)
- Loads of fun!!! My son insist on riding in his car everyday.
- Good product (battery last about 2 1/2 miles before it needs to be recharged)
- Sensible size (perfect size for riding on the sidewalk and stores well in our crowded garage)
- Good for active parents (goes fast enough for a good pace jog (5 mph) or a comfortable walk (2 1/2 mph) along)
This car would most likely be a hit with any kid, especially one who has seen the movie Pixar Cars. |

| This car is perfect! My son is three, and he is obsessed with hot wheels, trucks, and RACE CARS! He loves it. There is a lock on the high speed, so he can only go 2.5 miles per hour until I am ready for him to go the full 5 mph. It is easy to steer for him, and after only 30 min. of driving it, he's got it down. The car is adorable, and he looks great driving it. I would highly recommend this toy to any girl or boy who is a big fan of cars (the toys) or CARS the Movie. It's too much fun! |

| My husband and I purchased this for our three year old's bday. It arrived in perfect condition, and was a breeze to put together! If anything, our son was a little intimidated by it, and still won't drive it. This was very suprising to us b/c our son is pretty fearless. The neighborhood kids have taken it for a spin, and it can go! My only thing is I wish Power Wheels made seat belts b/c the rest of the car is realistic. |

| this car is roomy inside and is easy to steer. the sound effects are great, and the car arrived with no mechanical or cosmetic defects. Bottom line is my 3 yr old absolutely loves it and begs to play with it every single day, and really on something like this, that's all that really matters. |

My little boy LOVES this toy. It has two speed settings so I let him "train" for a couple of days on the slower speed (he is only 4) and then let him go faster. It has sound effects and the real voice of Lightning McQueen from the Cars movie.
My husband was out of town, and even this mommy put it together by myself! (Most of it comes assembled, you just have to add the steering bar, stickers, etc.) The battery is easy to remove, recharge, and reinstall. Even my 7 year old, who is almost at the 65 lb. weight limit, is riding it as much as she can until she gets too big. She loves it too. This was one of my little boy's and his parent's favorite toys we got him for his birthday. I highly recommend this toy especially if you have a litte "Cars" fan out there like mine! |

| My grandson absolutly loves his Lightning McQueen car. He could not unwrap it fast enough. He refers to it as "My Red". He is 3 years old and obsessed with it. It is everything we expected, slick, speedy, and totally cool. His father and grandfather added red neon lights hooked up to a seperate battery, now it glows red when he drives it at night. He thinks his car is awesome! |

| God bless Disney and Hot Wheels for making this car. I ordered it for my 3 year old son. The most attractive feature is that it is small. I live in NY - Bronx and we do not have much space in my apartment. I am able to fit the car under a table. He loves all types of cars and toys. He was so excited he could wait for his dad to put the final touches on the car. I was concerned because the car does not a seat belt or an parent remote control, but as soon as he took off - I was ok. He looked like a pro his day. Easy to assemble and easy for small children to control. My entire family is very happy about this purchase. |

This car works great for a five year old boy of medium weight and height and it will probably last him a year or two. Just wanted to comment on that size and fit because it seems that previous reviewers purchased this car for much younger children.
Also, the battery needs to be charged for something like 8 hours before first use and, thereafter, it lasts around three hours before requiring another such charge. That's to be expected though but just be forewarned. Otherwise, it is well made and well priced compared to other brands. |

This car was purchased for my grandson. He is only two, but was able to maneuver the car easily. Even when he isn't actually driving it, he loves to just sit in it and pretend. I see many years of enjoyment, not only for him, but for those of us who are young at heart. |

| This is an awesome toy. We bought this for my son's 3rd birthday two years ago and it is wonderful. We have not had one problem with it and my son rides it constantly! We all love it. However, you are gettiing ripped off if you pay more than $250.00 for it! We paid $240.00 with tax! |
