The Power Wheels Kawasaki KFX Ninja is THE Quad to have for the older child of over 3 years if capability and sheer excitement are your top priorities. |
| |
The styling on this is really top and literally indistinguishable from the hugely more expensive powered up versions for serious ATV adults. This particular Ninja has handle throttle acceleration, just like the real thing and the safest option for rough riding. The power of this highly capable ATV styled Power Wheel comes from the 12 volt battery that drives forward at a two stage setting of 2.5mph or 5mph. The lower speed setting can also be locked for the less experienced children out there, until of course they get the full hang of it and want to max out their fun. The Power Lock brakes from Fisher Price ensure that this ATV has the stopping power that is sometimes needed when pushing it through more testing conditions. This ATV, if off-road, muddy conditions, grass surfaces and the like are the priority, then this particular model stands head and shoulders above the competition and that is real usage not the sales pitch you read in all the glossy brochures. The inclusion of the Monster Traction does nothing but add to this ATV’s capabilities. Although the addition of available bespoke rubber tires make surface conquering all the better. This thing just keeps a going! |

The styling, weight distribution and Ninjafied looks make the stability and handling of this vehicle for young children so much easier. As you can probably tell, the Power Wheels Kawasaki KFX Ninja is a firm favorite and provides youngsters hours of preferred fun and thrills. |

I found a site that sells the Rubber Bands to help with the traction. I have wanted these for ages, so I wanted to share!
Go to Traction Bands Dot Com. don't type the dot, but didn't want to add a link that would get deleted. We have always had problems with the tires spinning on the hills and grass. So I hope these help any of you guys with the same problem! |

| Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3QN1HYBJI4STB I bought this for our 23 month old Son. He's always carefully supervised and I prevent him from running into things since he's not really old enough to use this on his own but he absolutely loves it. He'll drive it until the battery dies. He hasn't fully grasped the concept of steering but he does stop and uses forward/reverse to backup if he forgets to steer and comes too close to an object. |
My 2 year old loves it

| My son got this for his 2nd birthday and loves it. He can reach the pedals fine and is able to ride around without much assistance, but hasn't quite got the hang steering yet. I like that it has a slower speed especially for his age and we can adjust it to go faster when he gets older. My other 2 kids, 10 and 8, have also taken it for a spin, but it does definately slow it down. It seems pretty durable. |

| We are very pleased with this purchase. My son is 3 yrs old and small for his age. He can ride this with no problems at all.It can go up hills fine, as long as the grass isn't wet. My son also has a john deere tractor, this four wheeler get around better than the tractor. We received free shipping on this heavy item. We couldn't be more pleased. |

| My son absolutely LOVES his 4-wheeler! It is the coolest one I have seen and it was easy to put together. He asks to ride it every morning and wants to ride it all day long. He is so hands on, he gets underneath it with his plastic tools and works on it (he's only 4). He also helps taking the battery out to charge it. The only drawback I see with the product is the cost of the replacement battery - even though it recently dropped in price. The "turbo" is an extra bonus!!! |

| Our almost 3 year old got this for Christmas and LOVES it! He was so excited to get it and rides it all the time. We have over an acre of property so he has plenty of room to ride. It's easy to operate and steers nicely. It is rear wheel drive so sometimes he gets a little stuck on when riding over small tree limbs, etc. The wheels are plastic so I'm not sure how well they would hold up on the sidewalk but I think all power wheels are. It is a good sized vehicle and I know he will be able to fit it for a long time unlike some of the car ones. It has 2 speeds and then a boost on the handle bar. |

| We bought this for my 2Yr old birthday and he caught on no problem. It goes in the rocky driveway, it goes in wet grass, it goes in dry grass,it goes up and down hills, I couldn't be more happy or impressed for what i was buying. My 3 yr old got a battery powered motorcycle and would rather ride his brothers vehicle, and on that note he can because his brother gives him rides because it can hold two small children. Its the favorite toy at my house even when my 5 and 7 yr old nepews come over so the age range is very wide. I would DEFINATELY recomend this to any parent wanting a battery powered toy for their child! |
A Great Ride!

| After looking at many different PowerWheels and reading the customer reviews posted here on Amazon we decided to purchase the Fisher-Price Power Wheels Kawasaki KFX Ninja Ultimate Terrain Traction for our 5 year old son who has moderate autism. Well, he loved it! It's easy to use, fast (using turbo mode) and very durable. Yes, it does generate a lot of noise when operated on cement or asphalt, but really it's meant for grass terrain. If you live an an apartment complex with little or no grass/dirt surfaces your neighbors will not appreciate this toy as the tires are made of hard plastic and the nobbies sound like an insane drum roll at full speed on hard surfaces. That said, traction is decent on turf (slippage is occasional, but not an issue), it looks great, simple to operate and gives my kid an incredible sense of "independence" as we try to take him out as much as possible to the local school field where he can take off and roam freely. I've read the discussions regarding various types of after market traction "enhancers" and my advice is not to do it- the bands, rubber tires, etc will wear and destroy the gears. If you need that kind of traction get your kid a real quad or dirt bike. This is a toy and should never be intended to stand-in for a real engine-based off-road vehicle! Battery life is pretty good considering how fast the turbo mode goes. It is a good idea if you have the extra funds to purchase two batteries as well as the power wheels 12v quick charger- make sure you get the one with the singe contacts and not the 6v x2 version which I made the mistake of doing. The battery is easy to connect, and the installation was fairly simple (about 1 hour to assemble and apply the cosmetic stickers). All-in-all this is a fantastic product at a great price. There are larger, more expensive power wheels models, but if you're on a budget of under $300 this is the one to get. Our son is about 50lb and it more than compensates his weight. Get it! You're kid will love you for it. |
