Power Wheels Barbie Trail Rider

The design and styling of this Power Wheels Barbie Trail Rider ride on toy for kids is rugged in appearance with the intention of giving a real ATV feel and look, which it does so well. The bright pink Barbie colors together with the great adventure stickers make this a firm favorite with girls out there. |
| |
The Trail Rider itself has a front storage compartment with included cup holder, which kids love to load up and keep all of their essential and not so essential outing bits and pieces in. The extra rugged wheels and tires make driving on both flat road surfaces and grass easy and when it comes to stopping, the inclusion of the rated Power Lock braking system ensures your child comes to a stop quickly and safely. The Trail Rider travels in both front and reverse directions and is capable of officially getting up to 2mph in either direction. Push button controls make this vehicle particular easy for the younger kids to start and stop. The lower level ATV footrests ensure that feet are kept out of harm’s way, provide a comfortable foot riding position and make it easy for your child to climb on and off. The package includes a 6 volt battery as well as a 6 volt battery charger. |
| |
Although this is perhaps one of the slower Power Wheels products, it is specifically aimed at the younger girls and boy Barbie fans and so the speed limits are intentional. For extra safety on any ride on toy, it is always recommended that your child wear a safety helmet to fully protect her and allow her to fully enjoy her Trail Rider touring! |

Great Barbie look and coloring, comfortable, lower footrests for longer leg children, safe speed limit for younger children, fun, durable |

Recommended for children between 12 and 36 months old, 2mph max speed |

There are several Barbie Power Wheels choices available today and I think that many of the parent review comments negatively criticize the slow speed of this Barbie Trail Rider model. This particular model is specifically aimed at the very youngest of children where safe fun is key and not extreme speeds. So many parents simply have not done their basic research before buying this particular Power Wheels version and most of the negative comments are, therefore, undeserved. As a result, the mid range overall rating does not do this ride on vehicle justice. |
| |
This vehicle is aimed at children between 12 and 36 months of age, with the corresponding low weight levels and by design focused towards girls. In reality if you are buying the Barbie Trail Rider for your 6 year old son, at four times the weight of a 3 year old girl, then yes, it will move slower and have greater difficulty getting up steep slopes and will not provide your son with the speed thrills that boys love so much. |
| |
For those parents looking for a quality, Barbie design electric ride on vehicle for their daughter between the ages of one and three, where you specifically want to maintain sensible speeds for safety, then the Power Wheels Barbie Trail Rider still makes a great choice. |

Mod Power Wheels - Barbie Quad
|
| Although this video is of a slightly different Power Wheels model and spec, it really does a great job at showing how much pure fun and excitement these ride on ATV styled vehicles are for young girls. Every year they become more and more popular and if this video is anything to go by, the reason for the increasing popularity is obvious. Just feel a bit sorry for her brother who has been left to just stand and watch as his sister zooms back and forth in front of him having all the fun! This video demonstrates a couple of the essentials in any electric powered ride on toy, namely the turning ability, control, grass ability, incline slope capability as well as the safe start and stop control operations. |

| My 2 year old daughter loves this. She rides it all over. Very strong toy. Has been dropped down the stairs on accident and still goes. Withstands weight of older kids that shouldn't be riding it too. My son has one of these too (the boy version) that is over 2 years old and it still works, although battery doesn't hold a charge very well anymore. We have taken that one camping in the sand and dirt and it did very well. |

| We bought this quad for my 19 month old for Christmas, and she absolutely loves it. Not only has it been a joy to her, but my 4 year old loves riding it too. I was surprised at how much power this thing has as my 4 year old is able to cruise acrfess the grass on it. If you are looking for an inexpensive quad for your little one this one is a sure buy. |

| I bought this jeep for my 16 month old granddaughter for Christmas and she loves it. She jumped right on it, and at first when she pressed the button to go forward it jerked forward to quickly and scared her. I thought oh well, come spring time she'll get use to it. All of a sudden she jumps back on and took off down the hallway. She has to learn to steer it straight, but that will come in time. Grandpa says its easy to put together. Its durable and I think it will last a long time. |

| I bought this for my daughter when she was 14 months old and from the first moment she was able to easily get on the seat, without fear of falling down. She easily discover the push button on the right hand and how it works. Now she is 18 months old and she is able to control the quad perfectly. The toy has a reasonable speed to make safe and it does not flip over. This is a great value toy. |

| I bought this for my daughter's second birthday. It's really an lovely toy, and she easily understood to push the button in order to make it go. However, she seems a little scared to ride it. I think she will eventually enjoy it, as this is the first motor toy she's ever had. The battery actually had enough power to run right out of the box, which was nice. Very nice toy, well built. I gave it a 4 on durability as we have not owned it very long yet. |

| I bought this for my daughter's 2nd b-day. It is super cute, durable, and just the right size for her; however, she road it for about five minutes and now won't get on it. I think because she kept pushing the "on" switch versus holding it in the "on" position and it would jerk her back and forth that it may have scared her. She may be a little young for this now but I think in a few months she will like it. Fisher-Price Power Wheels Toddler Series Girl's Lil Quad Refresh |

Perfect for a 2-4 year old

| This toy is easy to assemble. It's size and speed are perfect for a 2-4 year old. It does not work exceptionally well on tile floor, because of the hard material the wheels are made from, however it does go well on carpeted floors and outside. It is strictly forward motion no reverse, which doesn't seem to hinder our 3 year old. I do not believe it would stand up under the size, weight or use of a child over 5. When they say "toddler series", that is exactly what it is for a toddler. |
